Claire (she/her) is a psychotherapist experienced working with adolescents and adults in community mental health, crisis stabilization, outpatient, and college counseling. Claire provides person-centered care that is trauma-informed, gender-affirming, and weight-inclusive. As a therapist, Claire supports clients in excavating, accepting, honoring, and reclaiming parts of the self influenced by early childhood experiences, family systems, and systems of oppression.

Claire nurtures permission to be who you are with compassion and curiosity for who you’ve needed to be in order to get your needs met, all while cultivating who you want to become. Claire is dedicated to supporting clients in designing ecosystems of relationships—platonic, erotic, romantic, familial, internal, bodily, gustatory, sensory—unbeholden to normative defaults.

Claire received her Bachelor of Arts in Politics from Whitman College in Washington state and her Master of Social Work from Smith College School for Social Work in Massachusetts. As a psychotherapist, Claire takes a relational, strengths-based approach with roots in psychodynamic, narrative, dialogic, and trauma theories. Claire draws inspiration from Esther Perel, adrienne maree brown, Dr. Becky Kennedy, Sonya Renee Taylor, and The Center for Body Trust.
